Own It!

You can pick up both of these lookers at Kabiri right now, one a testament to the stupidity of vanity, the other ... a testament that bravery is good? I can't come up with a deeper meaning for the horse ring, but I do love that you can take the knight off and dangle or seat him to your heart's content. Both rings are by Vanesi Jewels.

Nora Rochel

I was going though my image folder the other day and ran across a group shot of Nora Rochel rings. At this point, I said to myself, "What the hell is this, and why haven't I been paying more attention to it?" Because her stuff is pretty freaking fantastic, and Rochel captures the delicate beauty in nature so amazingly - some of her pieces look like mini ecosystems. Rings are the most abundant type of jewelry she makes and are her best works, many of which I've featured below.

Own It!

This one drew out a "Wow" from my boyfriend, so I know that I'm not alone in thinking this double-boar ring is hardcore awesome, both in number and in opposite gender. This porcine wonder comes to us from Surface to Air and retails for around $300. That's some high-grade bacon. No, no I cannot and I will not stop making pig-related puns. Deal with it.

Anndra Neen

Listen, I don't need to make excuses to you three about why I've been missing for the past month, but suffice it to say, looking for a job takes up a lot of free time. Anyway, while reading the 50 Most Stylish New Yorkers feature on Style Caster (really? to a lot of those picks, but some were appropriate), I came across this spotlighted design duo (and this totally counts as job hunting). I prefer the more minimal pieces this team of two sisters come up with, but all their work heavily relies on the geometry of the piece for visual interest. The prices aren't too bad either, which is always a huge plus. Onward and upward!
